Our Philosophy
  We believe that the
goals for preschool are the intellectual, physical, social and emotional development of children. The process is a gradual one unique to each one's own learning pace.

Our program supports our philosophy by giving each child a rich, enjoyable preschool experience and lays the foundation for a smooth transition to kindergarten,
Program
The curriculum is a thematic one in which children are given many opportunities for growth through literature, art, music, movement, block building, science and math.

Our spacious open classroom  offers a structure where children can choose from a variety of activities in different curriculum areas.

The first period of each session is Choice Time during which 3-and 4-year-old students move freely through the classroom and art room. Play choices include painting, sand and water play, cooking and other theme-related crafts projects.

In the second part of our program, the children are divided into their own age groups. Activities include Circle Time, Outdoor Play, Snack Time, Story Time, Crafts, Music and Movement.

Helping Parents
An important part of our program is the Helping Parent component. Once per month each family is assigned a day to help with his or her child's group.
The benefits are reciprocal. Parents learn about their child's life in school and we feel a true partnership with our students' families.

Trips and Specials
Animal and nature studies, cultural  celebrations and neighborhood walks are some of the many highlights of our school year.
