goals for preschool are the intellectual, physical, social and emotional development of children. The process is a gradual one unique to each one's own learning pace.
Our program supports our philosophy by giving each child a rich, enjoyable preschool experience and lays the foundation for a smooth transition to kindergarten.
Program
Our spacious open classroom setting offers a structure within which children choose from a variety of activities in different curriculum areas.
Junior and Senior Half Day Programs:
The first period of each session is a choice time where children from each age group work together in the classroom and art room. Choices include fine motor manipulatives, painting, sand and water play, playdough, gross motor activities, and theme related craft projects. During the second part of the program the children separated into “Juniors” and “Seniors” where they participate in developmentally appropriate activities including Circle Time, Crafts, Music and Movement, Snack, Story, and Outdoor Time.
NEW! Afternoon Enrichment Program
We invite pre-school and kindergarten age children to join us for a new and exciting adventure! Our new Afternoon Enrichment Program offers children an opportunity to build upon their pre-school and kindergarten experiences. Each five week session focuses on a specifice theme. With that theme children participate in small group, hands on learning experiences that support growth in mathematics, literacy, and science. Sessions meet two times each week (Mon. -Wed. OR Tues. - Thurs.) from
1:15 - 2:45.
Helping Parents
An important part of our program is the Helping Parent component. Once per month each family is assigned a day to help with his or her child's group. The benefits are reciprocal. Parents learn about their child's life in school and we feel a true partnership with our students' families.

Animal and nature studies, cultural celebrations and neighborhood walks are some of the many highlights of our school year.
